Finally starting to make again in my new workshop. It still needs a bit more work to finish it off but with a fresh supply of clay from Valentines it was too much of a temptation!
Making progress on my new workshop thanks to Carl and Darren. A bit of paint and i should be ready to start making again!
Spent a few hours getting the Theatre ready to celebrate 4o years with posters on the main staircase. Looks very impressive!
These are some images from the current retrospective exhibition of Emmanuel Cooper at the University of Derby. As i now work here i have the luxury of seeing them everyday in various parts of the building.
I have some work on display at the Lytham Heritage Centre in Lytham StAnnes. This is a group show with members of the NPA-West. It is a small show but in a lovely location in the centre of Lytham next to all the coffee shops and bars! Hopefully it should get a number of visitors over the next few days especially during this nice weather. unfortunately i will be looking after the show on Saturday when it is due to be a really hot day!

This year i have got three pieces into the Craft Open Exhibition at the Platform Gallery in Clitheroe. I was really impressed last year with the quality of the work on display so i expect it to be a good show this year. The opening is this Saturday (27/04/13) but we are not sure whether to go along this year. As is the case with most private views they can get a bit crowded and it is not always easy to see the work. I think we may wait for a quieter moment to go and view the show. As my wife Katharine also has three pieces in as well it will definitely be worth a visit.
